Ahoy there adventuresome ones, get your fingers on the buzzers for sign up for the mighty 2009 edition of the Africa Rally opens this Friday at 2 p.m GMT. With bigger balls, sandier deserts, steamier jungles and more AK47s than you can swing a rhino at, the second Africa Rally is going to be on helluva hot-under-the-collar-top-drawer adventure. To bag your spot you need to head towards the 'new account' button to your west-northwest as you look at this here website, then sign in just as the hour of 2pm GMT draws near on Friday and head for 'Adventure Sign Up'.
The Rally will lift off from the Land of Eng on December 13 2009 and land in Cameroon, erm, sometime later. Around four weeks later actually. We've got 150 places up for grabs, and given the amount of interest we've had, it's likely to sell out faster than a very fast thing (the Autumn Rickshaw Run perhaps, which sold out in 38 seconds!)
All cars taking part in the Rally this year have got to be left-hand drive, due to laws in Cameroon having changed since the last Rally.
