As tradition dictates The Adventurists’ servers have once again been slightly melted by the worldwide electronical assault that is the sign up for the next mighty Mongol Rally. But do not fear – there’s another chance to grab a place this Saturday… The 2010 doors of adventurism swung open today and welcomed in the first batch of wise folk who will spend next summer thundering across mountains and deserts in a tiny car. The website got a right old shoeing when hundreds of teams signed up and mothers everywhere were filled with the rage of sensibleness (those who have been told anyway).
The places were snapped up in minutes and the first round was done and dusted before we had time to put the kettle on for tea. All is not lost though…
Many aspiring adventurists work for companies with an internet policy that puts the rally site in the same forbidden place as that smutty naked stuff, so there’ll be another chance to sign up this weekend from the comfort of your own home.

After the first sign up quite a few of you fine new ralliers requested a little time to gather together the sheckles to sort out the entry fee, what with the economic squeeze and team members scattered about the globe.So if you got a place today but didn’t get round to finishing off the boring payment stuff drop us an email and we’ll open up your place again for you with an extension.
And for those of you planning on signing up on Saturday, you will have two weeks to make the payment and as we’re frankly nice chaps here at Adventurists HQ if you want to talk to us about paying in stages drop us a line and we’ll try and sort something out with directly.
