Namastecation

Rickshaw Run April 2025

Team Namastecation Part of the mighty tribe: Kiwis, Koalas & Chaos Meet Michelle, racing under the soulful moniker Léela—a Sanskrit name meaning divine play or cosmic drama. And honestly, if getting into a rickshaw and hooning across India with eight litres of fuel and blind optimism isn’t divine play, we don’t know what is. Léela brings grace, grit, and just enough mischief to keep things interesting. And then there’s Chris, known on this sacred journey as Aarush—meaning the first ray of sun. He’s the kind of bloke who can fix a flat, charm a chai wallah, and still look slightly surprised by his own map-reading. A born explorer with a taste for sunrise starts and spiritual horsepower. We are one of the four teams making up the gloriously unhinged collective known as Kiwis, Koalas & Chaos—a crew bound by friendship, folklore, and a thirst for the kind of adventure you definitely don’t tell your insurance provider about. As Australians, we carry with us the deep respect of our Aboriginal people, whose connection to land, spirit, and story reminds us to walk (and drive) with reverence. We are here not just to race, but to learn, laugh, and live a lifetime in every kilometre. Bring on the chaos. Namaste, legends.
