| Dirty, sweaty and very happy teams have been thundering over the finish line in Goa, finishing two weeks of splendid adventuring across India on the Rickshaw Run Spring 2009. When the teams arrive and sign the arrivals board they add a note about something either splendid or downright ruddy inconvenient that happened on their trip - here are a few highlights! Goaing for Gold - 'doing a poo under a bridge'. Indian-Apololis 500 - 'Rickshaw being used as impromptu getaway vehicle for a robbery!' (further reports indicate the team were not given a choice on this one!) Not 2 Shaw - 'Run off road by lorry, missed sleeping goat by inches'. Squintsteps - 'Fish n Chips in the Bay of Bengal!' The Phew - 'Chief of Police gave us his mobile number!' Goabusters - 'The cheeky call to the 'British Embassy' to avoid paying a 'fine'! Blazing Chillies - 'nearly hitting an elephant (with no lights)'. Team Mutley - 'Armed police escorts, playing chicken with lorries at night and Vijaynada to Goa in 48 hours flat!' Ragged Glory - 'Running up hills cos our rickshaw sucked!' Dodds Couch Tours - favourite quote - who's got the rickshaw keys!?'.
