Thinking of booking your summer holiday to Tenerife? Pah - what you are really after is 2 weeks of sweat, dust, mountain ranges, deserts, high temperatures, a little bit of monsoon, oh - and driving the marvel that is the rickshaw!
Yes indeed - the time has nearly come to bag yourself the coveted place on the Summer 2008 Rickshaw Run that you have all been after.
This beast of an adventure on 3 wobbly wheels will start from Kathmandu in Nepal on the 1st June 2008. Taking in most of the length and breadth of India, you and your trusty stead will arrive victorious in Pondicherry about 2 weeks later.
So I hear you cry - how do I get myself onto such an adventure?
Firstly you will need to create an account on this here fine site.
Then you must contain your excitement for just a little longer until the 19th November at 1400GMT. At this point you will need to log into your account, and click the 'Sign me up' link which will miraculously appear.
This link will take you to the Adventures page where you will see all the other cracking adventures that we could tempt you with. But be strong - what you are looking for is the Summer 2008 Rickshaw Run. Under this fine adventure heading you will see a link which says 'The draw is open. Click here to add yourself to the holding list.'
As this suggests, you will then be put onto the list of people interested in taking part.
From 1400GMT on the 19th November, you will have 24 hours to register your interest in a place.
Once this sign up window has closed (at 1400GMT 20th November) the 70 places will be randomly picked from those who have entered.
Everyone will be emailed shortly afterwards informing them of whether or not they have been offered a place, and from that point those who have bagged a place will have 24 hours to log in and pay for their place.
