No sooner than the first teams are creaking into the finish line than the 2009 rally springs into life. And this is going to be a Mongol Rally to outstrip any that have gone before. From jaw dropping parties in castles to afternoon tea with world famous adventurers regaling tales of woe this year is going to stuffed full of Adventurisms to save you from the tyranny of boredom. The 2009 Rally will start on Saturday 18th July 2009.

WHEN: The places go live on 20 th of August 16:00 GMT WHERE: The new Mongol Rally website http://mongolrally.theadventurists.com HOW: Follow the signup instructions online. You will need a user account on the website and then you can just hit the "Adventure Sign Up" button in your homepage. Easy. Make sure you arrive on time as it can be a bit of a rush for places. There will probably be a second round of places released so don't panic right away if you miss them first time round. |
Other news…
There is a new and very shiny looking Mongol Rally website live for you all to ogle. The teams are still posting videos pictures and messages from their respective adventures which is a good way to waste an afternoon or 5.
You can also see the first few clips of the official Mongol Rally film on there and a short of this years launch. There will be much more going on in this new part of the website in the coming months so keep your eyes peeled.
There's also a new vehicle rule brought in by our chums in the Mongolian Government about bringing cars under 10 years old which you can read all about online.
