Final Three Riders Left to Cross the Mongol Derby Finish Line

By Jenny Hunter

As the sun set over the 10th day of the inaugural Mongol Derby, eleven more of our pioneering riders made it across the Finish Line.  Details of who crossed in which order is yet to arrive from the field - we will update you here as soon as we have the full report.

Now only three riders, John Munro, David Coddington and Carina Oliver are left in the race - tonight they are resting at Urtuu (Horse Station) 19, hopeful for an early rise and a successful final push to Urtuu 22 and the Finish Line tomorrow, where they can expect only a day's rest before the partying begins.

Indeed, the Mongol Derby Finish Line Celebrations will now take place on Wednesday 2nd September  - we'll be updating you on those as soon as they've happened - but we have no doubt at all that they'll be the most splendid example of how to celebrate having done something extraordinary in life known to all of history.  So keep watching this space.
