On Wednesday evening we launched an emergency appeal in response to the extreme weather in Mongolia that is causing devastation to livestock.
We've never done this before and had no idea what the reaction would be.
The response was immediate and nothing short of marvellous. In the space of a few hours you contributed thousands of pounds to help the Mongolian herders and their families. The appeal is only two days old and is by no means over but has already risen to over £4000 which is more than 80% of our initial target of £5000.
We're hoping to hit the target with your help and be able to make a difference through the work of AVSF on the ground.
To find out more about why we launched this appeal check out our previous news story here.
We will continue to post updates on our appeal. Thanks again from all of us at The Adventurists.
