2007 Mongol Rally Triumphs!

By Dan Wedgwood
The Mongol Rally 2007 edition has come to a close and delivered another stonker - shedloads of cash has been raised for amazing charities and teams got themselves into impressive pickles all over the show.

From London (Madrid for some) to Mongolia with no route and no back up, teams did things with rubbish 1-litre cars that shouldn't be possible.

The website will soon be updated with the overall finishing positions of all the mighty 2007 teams. The best of the photos and legendary stories will be placed into the 2007 hall of fame and the 2007 Legends will be named and honoured for their bravery and excellence in the field.

There will also be updates from the charity projects and reports on the amazing work the official charities have been doing since the 2006 Rally. We will also be publishing the overall figure raised by the teams and from the sale of the Mongol Rally cars, along with information from the charities on how the money will be used.

Keep checking back for the updates, and if it wets your whistle and stirs something that might make you take up the reigns of a 1-litre chariot of crapness and head east next summer, then watch this space!
